Richard

Waikato born Richard is proud to be settled in Hamilton with his wife Sarah, and their three children. Richard Hull Builders Ltd have been Master Builders for 10 years now and continuing to grow.

With a National Certificate in Carpentry and many years in the building trade, Richard also spent time adventuring overseas, building underground car parks in Canada.

Richard thrives on working on a project from start to finish with meticulous detail. He is passionate and proud about his company and the work that they deliver. Building strong relationships with subcontractors to enhance the quality of his company's services and support others is very important to RHB.

When asked about why he loves the building industry so much, Richard said, ‘I love the challenge of doing a job really well, creating something from nothing, and solving people’s problems.’

Richard’s vision is for RHB to lift the standards for the industry, both in building and service for the customer. With that in mind, the priority of servicing all types of work will continue, whilst enjoying the challenge and demand of larger commercial and new home builds.

Richard used to enjoy playing rugby, but has now resigned himself to now being a spectator. So, he enjoys cycling as a means of keeping fit and enjoying the beautiful Waikato countryside.

Kate

Recently returned from living in the UK, Hamilton born Kate is enjoying rediscovering NZ with her English husband, Nic.

Kate brings a wealth of experience to Richard Hull Builders as Business and Projects Co-Ordinator.

With a background in finance, housing, media, hospitality and the ambulance service, Kate draws on those experiences and skills to benefit RHB. She enjoys dealing with people, and thrives on juggling lots of different things, which brings out the best in her!

She takes pride in delivering projects on time and within budget, and her attention to detail and presentation are very important to her.

In her spare time, Kate loves to travel, when she’s not accommodating friends and family from the UK!

Dean

Deane was born and bred in the South Island, and shifted to Hamilton 10 years ago. A qualified builder, he has been involved in the building industry for the last 28 years, from commercial to building new homes and renovations. Once self employed, he is now enjoying the challenge of his current role as Building Manager Supervisor for Richard Hull Builders Ltd for the last five years.

Deane really enjoys dealing with people, both clients and his team. Overseeing jobs on-site and giving support where needed, Deane will ensure the job is carried out to the highest standard for our clients.

In his downtime, Deane loves to spend time on his Harley Davidson with his wife Janice.
